The SMART CART, the wheelbarrow for the 21st century. Perfectly balanced for moving heavy bulky loads and strong enough to stand up to rough use year after year. The two-wheeled design means it will not accidentally topple sideways but it can be tipped for emptying safely and easily.

Unlike barrows made of wood and steel, the Smart Cart Wheelbarrow will not rot, warp, crack, splinter or rust in any weather. The robust high-density linear polyethylene pan is leakproof with no bolt holes to rupture or cause stress cracking, and has had ultraviolet inhibitor added at the moulding stage to prevent degradation by strong sunlight. The pan snaps securely into the chassis frame and snaps out easily for emptying; it can be used on its own as a handy tub or container. The aircraft-quality tubular aluminium frame is exactly the same on all models and therefore the Standard pan of 7 cubic feet (200 litres) capacity and the Extra-large pan of 12 cubic feet (340 litres) are interchangeable. Extra pans, in either size and colour, are available.

For stables

Smart Cart Wheelbarrows are labour-saving, their high capacity and two wheeled stability enabling more than one stable to be “mucked out” before the cart has to be emptied. Cut down these wearisome trips to the muck-heap!

Optional Towing Attachment

Convert the Smart Cart Wheelbarrow into an equally smart trailer-barrow by adding the optional towing attachment. Easily fitted in a few minutes (and easily removed again if you want to) it allows the Smart Cart Wheelbarrow to be towed behind a tractor, all-terrain vehicle or ride-on lawnmower. The container can be tipped from the driving seat and latches automatically back into the towing position when lifted up after emptying.

Rugged and Lightweight Design

The CHASSIS FRAME is hand-crafted in the USA of aircraft-quality tubular aluminium alloy. Each one is then satin etched and anodized for good looks and maximum weather resistance. A Smart Cart Wheelbarrow weighs less than 40 pounds yet can support virtually anything you can load into it.

Wheels
The 16″ pressed-steel wheels have tubeless pneumatic tyres and will carry up to 600lb (270 kg). They are ideal for moving loads over grass or soft surfaces. The tyres are two-ply rated and are not easily punctured in normal use. They can sometimes be punctured by, for example, hawthorns but this problem can be eliminated by filling the tyres with Linseal (see pricelist).

LIFETIME WARRANTY.
The Smart Cart Wheelbarrow carries the manufacturer’s warranty against failure of any part (except tyres) when used in a reasonable manner within the specified limits of load during the lifetime of the original purchaser.
